I am Barbara Howe and I am seeking your vote to become governor of
North Carolina.
I want you to be in charge of your life, your children's education, your income.
Break the status quo in Raleigh.
Sometimes the two major parties need to be reminded that they need
to stand for something, that there are principles that need to be
defended.
I respect the fact that you may not have decided to vote for me.
Yet, I am the only gubernatorial candidate who supports making choice
schools available to any parent who wants them. I am the only
candidate who says taxes are already too high (having more than
doubled in the past decade!). I am the only candidate who knows that
the state should not ever give (or be asked for) permission to
marry; the state recognizes marriages made by the partners.
Don't you want to remind "certain people" that they need to pay
more attention to these basics?
